Embracing the Fullness of Christ: Suffering and Divinity #1912
Embracing the Fullness of Christ: Suffering and Divinity
To know Christ in His fullness,
Both divine and crucified,
Is to walk the path of suffering,
Where His love and pain reside.
Not just in heights of heaven,
But in depths of sorrow's sea,
We find the true reflection
Of His grace and majesty.
To believe in only glory,
Is to miss the sacred blend,
Of a King who bore our burdens,
And a God who calls us friend.
In the wounds and resurrection,
Lies the mystery we seek,
A Savior's heart of mercy,
And a strength found in the weak.
For in His suffering, we gather
A glimpse of heaven's light,
A pathway through the shadows,
To the dawn of endless sight.
So let us hold both tightly,
The divinity and the pain,
Embracing Christ completely,
In His loss and in His gain.
In the cross and in the crown,
In the joy and in the strife,
We find the full dimension
Of our Savior’s boundless life.
