Embracing Grace and Mercy In grace and mercy, we find our rest, God’s love descending, we are blessed. No signs but the cross to guide our way, In Christ’s embrace, we choose to stay. Grace, not excuse to linger in sin, But power to break the chains within. Deeper than chains, God's love runs true, Our food and work, in Him we renew. "My food," said Jesus, "is to fulfill, The work of Him who sent with will." In silence, His whisper we discern, To repent, to turn back, and to learn. Hearts wide open, ready to mold, In grace and mercy, we are bold. Steadfast and true, beyond our strife, Grace and mercy, our guiding light. In shadow of cross, our path is clear, With boundless grace, we draw near. Empowered by love, transformed we stand, Yielding to His divine command. May Christ’s grace be with you all, In His mercy, we stand tall. In faith, we walk, His will to do, Grace and mercy, forever true. -Steven G. Lee (June 29, 2024)
