The Light of the World #2097

The Light of the World "I am the Light of the world," Echoes through time, unfurled, A beacon bright in darkest night, A promise of life, pure and right. Whoever follows, fear no more, For in His steps, light will pour, No shadow can eclipse His grace, No darkness can obscure His face. The light of life, a guiding flame, In Jesus' name, we find our aim, From John to Matthew, it’s proclaimed, His brilliance, eternally acclaimed. In Him was life, the light of men, Breaking dawn, a new day again, Though darkness sought to veil His glow, It could not dim what He bestows. His light shines brighter in disdain, When hearts reject, His love remains, Unyielding truth, the Gospel's might, Transforms the darkest into light. Pastor’s words, a call to see, The Gospel's power, wild and free, It shines the most when least esteemed, In Jesus Christ, our souls redeemed.
