The Path of Grace and Mercy #2031
The Path of Grace and Mercy
(The Narrow Path)
In the hush of dawn's first light,
The gospel calls, a beacon bright.
Grace and mercy, intertwined,
The path of Christ within our mind.
The Son of Man, our journey shares,
With every step, He shows He cares.
The Son of God, He lights our way,
A difficult path, yet bright as day.
Grace, profound, yet freely given,
Not cheaply bought, but leads to heaven.
The road is hard, the way is steep,
Yet in its walk, true life we keep.
In a world of fleeting dreams,
God's grace and mercy softly gleams.
The narrow gate, so few will find,
Yet peace and strength it leaves behind.
"Be merciful," the call rings clear,
To those in need, both far and near.
Our neighbors poor, in mercy greet,
Reflecting God's love, pure and sweet.
The narrow gate, not to exclude,
But focus hearts, in gratitude.
In Christ's embrace, our path is sure,
With grace and mercy, we endure.
So as the night draws gently in,
With solemn "Amen," we begin.
Guided by His holy light,
In grace and mercy, find our sight.
Together walk this sacred trail,
Through love and faith, we shall prevail.
In Christ, our hearts aligned as one,
The narrow path, our journey's done.
