Heaven’s Eternal Scroll Behold, a power within our grasp, To tread where serpents dare not clasp, To walk through scorpions' dens unscathed, With divine strength, our paths are paved. Yet let our hearts not swell with pride, In earthly powers we’re supplied, For fleeting is the strength we wield, Compared to heaven's greater field. Rejoice not in the spirits’ call, Nor in the marvels we enthrall, But in the book where names reside, In heaven's scroll, where joys abide. Our true triumph lies not here, In earthly might or temporal cheer, But in the grace that saves our souls, In heaven’s scroll, where love consoles. With humbled hearts, let’s celebrate, The grace that writes our eternal fate, For in the Lamb's book, bright and clear, Our names shine forth, forever dear. Rejoice, oh souls, in salvation’s song, In the eternal home where we belong, For power is fleeting, but grace is whole, In heaven’s eternal, blessed scroll. -Steven G. Lee (June 29, 2024)
