Authority Granted, Humility Found Behold, the gift bestowed on you, Authority to tread where serpents lie, To walk unscathed through scorpions' dens, And conquer all the enemy's might. Yet, let your joy not rest in power, Nor in spirits that heed your call, For triumph is not in earthly sway, But in heaven's book where your names are inscribed. Rejoice not in dominion granted, Nor in the marvels you command, Rejoice instead in grace received, In the eternal home prepared above. For power is fleeting, a temporal might, But your names in heaven, forever bright, Rejoice, oh souls, in salvation's song, In the Lamb's book, where you belong.
