Urban Realities: A Poetic Reflection #2012

Urban Realities: A Poetic Reflection Through labyrinthine streets, where life's pulse beats, I found a truth profound, where chaos and grace meet. Not in walls of tradition, nor in doctrines confined, But in raw human stories, His love I did find. In whispered conversations and bustling city cries, I glimpsed the Gospel's essence, hidden in weary eyes. Each encounter a revelation, a touch of divine grace, In the marginalized and broken, I saw His loving face. The streets, my sanctuary, where faith became alive, In acts of compassion, His message did thrive. Beyond rituals and creeds, His presence did unfold, Transforming hearts and communities with stories untold. So, in urban realities, amidst the rush and the sound, I found the Gospel's heartbeat, in every corner found. In the symphony of life, His love resounded clear, Encountering Jesus Christ, true and near. -Steven G. Lee (June 29, 2024)
