The Closed Door #2088

The Closed Door Woe to you, teachers of hollow creed, Hypocrites veiled in robes of deceit, You shut the door of heaven’s light, Blocking souls from their divine right. With words of righteousness, you preach, From a den of corruption, you beseech, Integrity cloaked in a mask so thin, Hiding the darkness festering within. You enter not the sacred door, Nor let others seek what’s more, Gatekeepers of a faith so flawed, Turning hearts from the path to God. Audacity to preach what you don’t live, Taking, never learning to give, From the temple of truth, you turn away, Leading the faithful astray. In your grasp, the key to life, Twisted by your hidden strife, Hypocrisy in every breath, Guiding souls to spiritual death. Yet, truth remains, pure and bright, Beyond your shadows, eternal light, For every heart that truly seeks, Finds the kingdom where grace speaks.
