The Leaven of Hypocrisy In the daily rush, His voice still rings, A timeless call, a warning brings, "Take heed, beware," the Savior cries, Of leaven's snare, deceitful lies. Leaven spreads, unseen, so small, Transforms the heart, corrupts us all, Hypocrisy, its hidden seed, Breeds deceit in word and deed. The Pharisees in robes so pure, Outward pious, hearts unsure, Their show of faith, a hollow guise, Truth obscured by hidden lies. Beware the leaven, subtle, sly, Twisting truth, it clouds the eye, Whispers falsehood, leads astray, Shadows cast upon our way. Guard your hearts with utmost care, Let truth and love be planted there, For God desires hearts that shine, With honesty, in love's pure line. Seek integrity in all you do, In every thought, let love shine through, For in His truth, we find our light, Dispelling darkness, wrongs made right. Embrace His call, let faith take root, Cast out deceit, in love, be resolute, In Christ alone, we find our peace, From leaven's grasp, a sweet release. As we journey on this path of faith, Let vigilance guard our hearts and ways, For only in truth, pure and bright, Can we reflect His holy light.
