The Glory of Mercy and Grace #2035
The Glory of Mercy and Grace
Mercy and grace, the glory of God,
In Jesus Christ, the plumbline of the divine,
The Gospel's fulfillment by these threads is trod,
In grace and mercy, His love does shine.
Few find the path, narrow and straight,
Grace and mercy, rare treasures they are,
For many are lost, burdened by fate,
Missing the light of God's guiding star.
In a world filled with actions void and cold,
Where mercy and grace often go unseen,
The greatest danger, a heart turned to gold,
Doing all or none without the serene.
Be merciful, as God is to you,
To the poor, the neighbors near and dear,
For in your kindness, His love breaks through,
In acts of grace, His presence is clear.
For mercy and grace reflect His face,
In every deed, let His glory be shown,
Walk the path of His loving embrace,
And in His mercy, let your heart be known.
