Interpreting Biblical Parables in Modern Contexts #1981

Interpreting Biblical Parables in Modern Contexts In whispers of ancient tales, wisdom gleams, Parables woven through timeless streams, Stories of faith, of trials and grace, Echoes of truth in every time and place. The sower's seed on fertile ground, Now springs forth in fields profound, Roots entwine with hopes and fears, Yielding fruit through passing years. The prodigal, a wanderer's plight, In cities lost, in neon light, Yearns for home, for love's embrace, A father's forgiveness, a saving grace. The Good Samaritan's timely call, On crowded streets where shadows fall, Hands that lift the broken soul, Binding wounds to make us whole. Interpreting ancient tales anew, In modern hearts, the message true, For in each parable, a mirror reflects, Our journey's trials, our soul's respects. May wisdom guide, may truth be found, In every parable's profound sound, Interpreting past in present light, Bringing hope, dispelling night. In biblical parables, timeless and vast, Echoes of eternity, steadfast and fast, Interpreting, understanding, we embrace, The Word made flesh, the guiding grace. -Steven G.
