Echoes of Lamentation We have been through disaster and ruin, Our hearts heavy, our spirits in shambles, We live in danger and fear, Each step a shadow, each breath a whisper. Let us examine our ways, The paths we've walked, the choices we've made, And turn back to the Lord, For in His grace, we find our refuge. Let us open our hearts to God in heaven, With hands raised, with souls laid bare, And pray, in earnest, in hope, For His mercy to mend our brokenness. Through the echoes of our lamentation, Let repentance be our guide, And in the silence of our surrender, Let the Lord's peace abide. -Steven G. Lee
