Buried with Christ: The Newness of Life #1889

Buried with Christ: The Newness of Life We are buried with Christ into death’s cold embrace, only to rise anew, bathed in His endless grace. It’s not the towering mountains that God seeks to change, but our very souls, molded through each rugged range. In the heart of the storm, our vision may falter, yet it’s faith, not sight, that we are called to alter. Through the waters of baptism, we enter the grave, entwined with Christ, our spirits saved. Just as He emerged, radiant in the Father’s glory, we too are called to walk a new path, our own resurrection story. Every letter of the Gospel, a divine shortcut, guiding us to the way of salvation, uniting believers’ hearts in sacred communion, while those unacquainted with the gospel find themselves graced with a newfound faith. Mountains loom, shadows cast long, yet it is within these shadows that our true purpose is forged and strong. God whispers to our hearts, urging us to walk by faith, an unseen journey, yet deeply safe. In Christ, we are transformed, not merely to endure, but to shine, to live, to secure. Rising from the depths, in the brilliant light of glory, we are called to walk in the newness of life, a journey of faith, unwavering and bright. Our faith becomes a beacon, illuminating the night, in Christ, all things are made right. In the dance of trials and triumph, we discover the divine, our hearts alight with a purpose, truly sublime. -Steven G. Lee (June 21, 2024)
