Embracing the Newness of Life in Christ (Buried with Christ: A New Way of Life) We are buried with Christ into death’s embrace, To rise anew, in His grace, Not to change the mountains, standing tall, But to transform us through it all. In the storms, our sight may fail, Yet faith, unseen, prevails. God's whispers bid us to walk by faith, A journey unknown, yet safe. Through baptism, we enter the grave, With Christ, our souls He saves. Just as He rose, in glory's light, We too walk, in life so bright. Each letter of the Gospel’s song, A path to salvation, where hearts belong. Believers' hearts, in unity, bind, Graceful faith for the seeking mind. In the shadow of mountains high, We find our purpose, to glorify. God’s work within, through trials, clear, In Christ, we walk, without fear. We rise from death, in glory’s might, To walk in newness, in His sight. Our faith, a beacon, shining true, In Christ, all things are made new. -Steven G. Lee (June 21, 2024)
