The Silent Kingdom: Where Christ Reigns #1901

The Silent Kingdom: Where Christ Reigns (The Kingdom Within) In halls of praise, we gather near, Voices lift, hearts sincere. Brick and mortar, grand and tall, But the Kingdom's call transcends it all. Churches rise, communities blend, In His name, our voices send. Yet deeper still, a truth profound, The Kingdom's presence knows no bound. "Lo here! or lo there!" they cry, Seeking signs that touch the sky. But quietly, the Kingdom stays, Within our hearts, in silent ways. In stillness, where true faith grows, The Kingdom's light within us glows. Not confined by earthly frame, An inner realm without a name. Cherish the churches, where we meet, In fellowship, our faith's heartbeat. But remember, in the depths unseen, The Kingdom lies where souls convene. Seek not in grand, majestic halls, Nor in the public square's loud calls. The Kingdom dwells where Christ is known, Within your heart, it finds its throne. So let us gather, sing, and pray, In communities, along the way. Yet know the Kingdom's sacred part, Resides within each faithful heart. -Steven G. Lee (June 24, 2024)
