The Heart's True Reflection: A Prose Poetry #1886
The Heart's True Reflection: A Prose Poetry
In a world where appearances reign supreme, it is better to be known as a sinner than to stand before the Lord of Spirit as a hypocrite. The façade of purity, a hollow victor, masks the soul’s true narrative, echoing the ancient words, “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.” Within the sacred temple of truth, pretense must dissolve, giving way to the enduring glow of sincerity.
Speak not with a gilded tongue and empty praises, but let the fervor of your heart ignite your words. In the quiet sanctum of repentance, lift a prayer unfeigned, pure, and undeterred. The flawed path, though known to the world, is a far better journey than the spiritual charade. For God, the Divine, sees beyond the acclaim and the applaud, into the depths where genuine love and contrition reside.
Strip away the layers of deceit, reveal the heart’s truth. In the eyes of the Lord, complete is the soul that stands honest, healed, and sealed. Honor with your lips, but more so with your heart, for in this union, the Spirit finds its true dwelling. The path of authenticity, though fraught with flaws, is the journey where the Spirit meets the heart in its purest form, unadorned and sincere.
