Embracing Selfless Service: The Path to True Fulfillment In a world that sings of self to save, Jesus calls to a path more brave, To lose ourselves in love's embrace, To find true life, to run the race. In shallow shores of fleeting fame, We seek success, we seek a name, But greatness, Jesus, you redefine, In serving others, your light shines. Not in wealth, nor power's might, But in the ransom, love's pure light, A life laid down to set us free, A call to serve, in humility. Faith that steps from comfort’s zone, To risk, to love, to walk unknown, In losing life, a truth unfolds, In Christ’s embrace, our life holds. Daily choices, simple, grand, To lend a heart, to hold a hand, In every act, the gospel’s glow, In selfless love, our hearts bestow. Consider those who gave their all, In serving others, they stood tall, Their lives a beacon, shining bright, In selfless service, pure delight. Mother Teresa, a life so pure, In serving others, found the cure, For emptiness that wealth can bring, In giving all, her heart did sing. As we walk this path of grace, Our lives reflect God’s loving face, In every act of love we give, We find the fullness in which we live.
