The Fear of the Lord: A Path to Wisdom #1908
The Fear of the Lord: A Path to Wisdom
Whoever fears the will of God finds safety,
For in the reverence of His will, sin is feared.
To love God is to abhor sin's shadow,
For those who fear not sin, know not God’s heart.
The way of peace remains unknown,
For no fear of God exists before their eyes,
Lost in illusions, strayed from wisdom’s path,
Ignoring the call to holy reverence.
“The way of peace they have not known,”
The scripture speaks, a lament profound,
“There is no fear of God before their eyes,”
Their hearts are blind, their spirits bound.
Yet the fear of the Lord is the dawn of knowledge,
A beacon bright, guiding through life’s night.
To fear God’s will is to shun illusions,
To depart from lies, embracing truth’s light.
In holy fear, wisdom begins,
A sacred journey, a cleansing fire,
For the fear of God burns away deception,
Leading the soul to a higher desire.
Reverence births understanding deep,
In awe of God, illusions break,
For those who fear the Lord, find grace,
In the fear of sin, true love awakes.
So, tread the path of holy fear,
Embrace the wisdom from above,
For in the fear of God lies peace,
And in His will, eternal love.
