Striving for Equity: A Vision Inspired by Proverbs 22:7 In shadows deep, where wealth divides, The rich rule over, while hope subsides. The poor, in chains of debt confined, Seek freedom's light, so hard to find. A world where power tilts the scales, The lender's grasp, a binding tale. In markets' dance, the cries are heard, Of those who struggle, dreams deferred. Yet in this verse, a vision gleams, Of equity, a future's dreams. Where burdens lift, and chains release, A world of justice, love, and peace. In hearts that strive for fairness true, A brighter dawn, a clearer view. With empathy, we bridge the gap, And lift each other from the trap. Innovation’s light, not just for few, But shared with all, in skies so blue. Education, health, within each hand, A unified, uplifted land. Environmental care, a pledge we keep, To heal the earth, its treasures deep. For every soul, a rightful place, In equity's warm, embracing grace. So let us strive, with vision clear, To build a world, where all draw near. Where justice reigns, and hope’s renewed, In every heart, in every view. With Proverbs’ wisdom as our guide, We journey forth, with love and pride.
