Reflections of the One True Light #1926
Reflections of the One True Light
In the quiet dawning of each new day,
Where light spills, chasing shadows away,
There is a lesson deep in the sun's golden ray,
A truth that whispers softly, "Only One may say,
He is good, the source of all right, our eternal sway."
We wander beneath the vast, celestial expanse,
Seeking goodness with every glance,
In acts of kindness, in love’s tender dance,
Yet, true goodness is not left to chance—
It flows from God, not circumstance.
Each sunrise, a painter’s masterstroke,
Reminds us of the words He once spoke,
"Why callest thou me good?"—a gentle provoke,
That lifts our eyes to the heavenly yoke,
To the only Good, whose presence we invoke.
Like mirrors catching the sun’s bright face,
We reflect His love, His truth, His grace,
Our lives but echoes of His holy embrace,
In every deed, let His goodness trace,
The lines of our stories, His divine base.
Let this be our call, our creed, our song,
To seek the Good where all things belong,
Beneath His sun, where our hearts grow strong,
In the light of the One, forever long,
The true Good, in whom we find no wrong.
