Beyond Bias and Humility #1940
Beyond Bias and Humility
In the woven threads of life we find,
Bias blinds our hearts and minds,
Friends' flaws fade in love's bright light,
Enemies' virtues hide from sight.
Christ calls us to a higher way,
To see the truth in night and day,
Remove the planks, let clarity guide,
See beyond the swell of pride.
Humility, a gentle grace,
Leads us to a sacred place,
Where we value others more,
Seeking what their hearts implore.
God's justice knows no favor's sway,
He sees us all in truth's pure ray,
His wisdom pierces through the guise,
Reveals the heart, unveils the lies.
Proverbs, James, they speak to us,
Against partiality's unjust thrust,
Treat all with love, with equal care,
In judgment, let the truth be fair.
In pursuit of truth, we find,
Humility transforms the mind,
Good in foes, flaws in friends,
To this divine call, our vision bends.
Mirror God's perspective clear,
Judge with fairness, conquer fear,
Walk humbly, value each,
In every soul, God's wisdom teach.
May the Spirit guide our sight,
To see with love, to judge with light,
Beyond bias, embracing grace,
In Christ's love, find our place.
