Within and Without #1855
Within and Without
God is not in hypothesis,
but in the depths of your soul,
for what is inside you
becomes the world you know.
The cross stands as a bridge,
glorifying the Lord our God,
revealing and manifesting
the union of within and without.
"I do not seek my glory,
for if I glorify myself,
my glory is nothing,"
He whispers to the heart.
It is the Lord of Spirit
who bestows true glory,
the one who sees within,
the one who brings it forth.
In the silence of surrender,
in the quiet of the soul,
we find the cross’s wisdom,
its purpose to make whole.
God is not a distant theory,
not a fleeting thought,
but the living truth within us,
the reality we have sought.
So let us bear the cross,
in humility and grace,
to glorify the Lord our God,
in every time and place.
For inside is where He dwells,
and outside, He will show,
the harmony of spirit,
the love we come to know.
