With Grace and Mercy #1723

With Grace and Mercy With God's grace and mercy, we make the world anew, A tapestry of love, where every heart is true. God, who is all love, with grace beyond compare, Fills our lives with mercy, a presence everywhere. Yet, in this love profound, we find no empty throne, For sovereignty, justice, holiness must be shown. Without these sacred truths, love becomes a shell, An idol carved by hands, a hollow citadel. The most terrible thing, as wisdom gently warns, Is justice without mercy, a world of broken dawns. For justice, cold and harsh, without the warmth of grace, Leaves hearts in desolation, a desolate place. So, let us blend these truths, in harmony divine, Where justice and mercy in perfect balance shine. With God's grace and mercy, we make the world anew, A kingdom filled with love, where every heart is true. -Steven G. Lee (June 9, 2024)
