When Temptations Rise #1947
When Temptations Rise
In the crucible of trials, where our fears align,
Common to man are the snares that bind.
Yet, in these depths, a whisper thrives,
"God is faithful," the spirit revives.
He crafts our tests with a merciful hand,
Not beyond our reach, but enough to understand.
With every lure, a hidden path made clear,
An escape, a refuge, so we need not fear.
From the throes of distress, I raised my plea,
To the Lord who holds the key to infinity.
"My chains are heavy, my strength wanes,"
Yet, He heard my voice, felt my pains.
In that sacred exchange, when I yielded control,
The Lord reached down and touched my soul.
"Be free," He declared, in a tone so divine,
Breaking my chains, with a love so benign.
For no cage is sealed by temptation’s might,
That heaven’s grace cannot bring to light.
And no cry is lost on the winds of despair,
For God responds with an open ear.
So, let us walk this path with a steadfast heart,
In every challenge, His grace imparts.
For we are never alone in our darkest plight,
God is with us, turning shadows into light.
