When the Peninsula Unites: A Prose Poetry #1936
When the Peninsula Unites: A Prose Poetry
On the day the Korean peninsula, long divided by war and ideology, finds its way back to unity, it will do so under the shadow of the cross—an emblem of suffering and sacrifice turned symbol of hope and renewal. This day will mark not just a geopolitical triumph but a spiritual awakening. As the cross rises, so too will the collective consciousness of humanity, stirring souls across the globe into a state of repentance and lamentation.
The world will pause, its busy machinations grinding to a halt, as from every corner of the earth, eyes turn towards this ancient land. They will watch in awe as prophecy and promise fold into one, the cries of "Hosanna! Maranatha!" echoing through streets, over mountains, and across oceans. These words, ancient yet ever new, carry the weight of yearning and the promise of return.
Amidst this global chorus, the heart of the peninsula beats anew—pulsing with the rhythm of unity and the hope of redemption. Every whisper of division is drowned out by the collective prayer of "Amen," a word that seals faith and heralds beginnings. On this day, as the peninsula rises, united and strong, so does the possibility of a world transformed by the divine paradox of the cross—a symbol once of death, now of life everlasting.
