Title: In Memory of Much Love #1949
Title: In Memory of Much Love
In the quiet of fragrant shadows,
she knelt, a vessel of alabaster,
within her hands a history of trespass,
her tears a silent testament of remorse.
She poured out more than scented oil,
spilling her spirit upon His feet—
where sin abounded, grace did much more abound,
in drops of mercy, her redemption composed.
The room murmured in discontent,
eyes of judgement casting shadows long,
yet, He spoke of love's vast expanse,
where sins are vast, yet love vast more.
"Her sins, they are many," declared the Voice,
"but behold the weight of love she bears!"
From a wellspring of forgiveness she drew,
her love, a mirror to the grace bestowed.
Let not the heart scorn what the Divine adores,
for in her act, a gospel's breath was sown.
Across the ages, through countless echoes,
her story whispers in the corridors of faith.
"Wherever this good news is breathed,
her deed shall dance in memory's light,"
A monument not carved in stone,
but living in the hearts that grace will touch.
In the tapestry of forgiven threads,
her colors bleed into our own—
teaching us the art of love,
when grace is known, when mercy is shown.
