The Strength of Truth and Grace #1697

The Strength of Truth and Grace Jesus welcomes sinners near, In love, He draws us, casts out fear. Not upset by those who fall, But grieved by hearts that hear no call. For those who see no sin within, Blind to the chains of deep-set sin, He weeps for hearts that won't confess, Their bondage leading to distress. The terminal point of sin’s dark chain, Is damnation, eternal pain. Yet hope remains in His embrace, For Jesus conquers sin with grace. Upon the cross, His love displayed, Our debts He paid, our fears allayed. Stronger than addiction's snare, He bore our burdens, every care. In the end, the truth prevails, His word of life, it never fails. The truth will conquer, set us free, In Jesus, truth and grace we see. He is the way, the life, the light, In Him, our darkness turns to bright. Eternal truth, our steadfast friend, With Jesus, love and truth transcend. -Steven G. Lee (June 12, 2024)
