GOD'S PLUMB LINE IS JESUS CHRIST: MERCY & GRACE TO KEEP GOD'S LOVE TRUE. The Plumb Line Christ (Jesus) vs The Plumb Line Prophet (Amos) Mercy and grace in Christ are in works, not words, for actions speak the truth, and deeds reveal the heart. "If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me; but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I am in the Father." The plumb line of Christ is straight and true, a measure of mercy and grace through actions divine. Amos called for justice, for righteousness to flow, a prophet's plea, a prophet's cry, for God's standard to hold. Yet Christ, the perfect plumb line, exemplifies God's love, in every act of healing, in every touch of grace. Mercy flows from His hands, and grace from His heart, for the works He performs are the Father's own. Believe the works, see the Father's light, in every deed of kindness, in every act of might. For in Christ's works, God's love shines through, a beacon of mercy, a testimony true. So let our hearts align with Christ, the plumb line, let mercy and grace guide our every step.
