The Paradox of True Riches #1841

The Paradox of True Riches In humble hearts the blessings flow, Where worldly wealth can never go. A paradox of truth unfolds, In hands of those who little hold. The poor in spirit, truly blessed, In God’s embrace, they find their rest. Not riches, gold, nor treasures bright, But Kingdom’s love and holy light. To count the blessings, one must see, The grace that flows so endlessly. In hearts that seek, in souls that yearn, The gifts of God we humbly learn. For those who know their need so deep, In God’s own arms, their spirits leap. The Kingdom’s keys are theirs to claim, In Jesus’ love, they find their name. So let us count not wealth but grace, And seek the light of God’s own face. For in the poor, the humble, meek, The richest blessings we shall seek. -Steven G. Lee (June 20, 2024)
