The Eternal Whisper of Time #1871

The Eternal Whisper of Time If nothing happened, if nothing changed, time would be immemorial—a shadow in the vast expanse, a silent whisper on the edge of existence. What is the reality of time? Is it the Earth time, marked by the sun's daily dance, a rhythm of light and shadow, birth and decay, a cycle that binds us to the ground? Or is it space time in heaven, where stars are born and die in brilliant silence, a celestial ballet beyond the reach of human hands, an eternal testament to the cosmos' grandeur? Perhaps it is human time, measured in heartbeats and breaths, in moments of joy and sorrow, a tapestry woven with threads of memory, a fragile yet resilient testament to our journey. Men alone of all creatures know time, they alone witness the relentless march of change. They alone remember their dead, honor their legacy, and bury their dead, a solemn act of love and reverence, a bridge between past and future, between the seen and the unseen. In the silence of the grave, in the quiet of the stars, in the beating of our hearts, time flows, unseen yet felt, a river that carries us all towards an unknown horizon. Here, the mystery of existence meets the eternal. It is in this flow that we find our place, our purpose, our connection to all that has been and all that will be. Time, in its myriad forms, is the silent witness to our lives, the eternal whisper that reminds us of our fleeting moments, our lasting impacts. It is the unseen force that shapes our destiny, the unseen hand that guides our steps, the unseen thread that weaves our stories into the grand tapestry of existence. And in the end, it is time that remains, an eternal whisper on the edge of existence, a shadow in the vast expanse. -Steven G. Lee (June 21, 2024)
