The Dance of Conscience and Faith #1851 (Poem)
The Dance of Conscience and Faith
Sin against the heart's true call,
Addiction binds, a heavy thrall.
Conscience speaks with freedom's voice,
In its whispers, we find choice.
No sin controlled, addiction's lie,
Reaching out, let bravery fly.
Choice in conscience, pure and bright,
Yet sin's grip hides from sight.
Repentance, faith in Christ's embrace,
Have courage, seek His grace.
Make amends, with love and care,
Grateful hearts in humble prayer.
Face your fears, stand tall and true,
No longer danger, life anew.
"The time is now," the Savior cried,
Kingdom's near, with arms spread wide.
Repent and believe, the gospel's light,
Faith and repentance, intertwined tight.
Grace that saves, not fruits alone,
Faith without deeds, a heart of stone.
Saved by grace, a gift so pure,
But faith must act, to be sure.
In Christ we find the strength to fight,
Repentance and faith, our guiding light.
