Repentance: The Pillar of Genuine Mission in Contemporary Christianity #1833
Repentance: The Pillar of Genuine Mission in Contemporary Christianity
In the halls of the faithful, a call must be heard,
Not of grandeur or conquest, but of a humble word.
For in missions vast, spanning land and sea,
Lies a hidden truth, a truth we must see.
Repentance, the cornerstone, the pillar we need,
Without it, our missions are empty, driven by greed.
Hearts must turn, from darkness to light,
For only in this turning can we see what is right.
A mission without repentance, a vessel unclean,
Is but a shadow, a vision unseen.
For in repentance lies the power to renew,
To cleanse our spirits, to make our faith true.
Corruption festers where repentance is shunned,
In the absence of humility, the mission's undone.
Let our cries for justice start with our own,
In the depths of our hearts, let repentance be shown.
So let us turn, with hearts contrite and sincere,
For in this turning, the Lord draws near.
A mission with repentance, pure and bright,
Is a beacon of hope, a guiding light.
In the 21st century, let this be our theme,
To cleanse our missions, to dream a new dream.
Repentance, the pillar, strong and sure,
Ensures our mission is holy, noble, and pure.
