In the Beginning #1839
In the Beginning
In the beginning, light so splendid,
Rises at dawn, a world attended.
Before the daybreak's gentle glow,
In unity, the spirits grow.
To be awake before the dawn,
To feel the earth, to sense the morn,
Where colors burst and shadows flee,
In morning’s light, our souls set free.
Once again, His voice was heard,
Jesus spoke the sacred word.
“I am the light,” He said with grace,
“Follow Me, your fears erase.”
For those who walk within His light,
No darkness shall their path incite.
The light of life, a guiding beam,
Fulfilling every heart’s true dream.
In the beginning, pure and bright,
We find our way in His great light.
From dawn to dusk, His love our guide,
In Him, our spirits unified.
In morning’s rise, His glory found,
In every ray, His truth resounds.
A new day born, a promise clear,
In His light, we’ve naught to fear.
In the beginning, light revealed,
In every heart, His love is sealed.
Through daybreak’s glow, His presence seen,
In Jesus’ light, our souls are clean.
