Illusions of the Past The greatest obstacles of life are not actions' results, But illusions of past actions, a shadowy assault. Remember, nothing alters God's love, profound and vast, For Christ is concealed, revealed, and manifested in our hearts, steadfast. Therefore, let us draw near with confidence bold, To the throne of grace, where mercy and grace unfold. In our time of need, His aid we shall find, As we yield our spirits to God's grace, so kind. Into His mercy, we surrender our strife, Trusting in His love, the essence of life. For in His embrace, we find solace and peace, In God's grace and mercy, our burdens cease. -Steven G.
