Homeward Bound #1934

Homeward Bound Do not dwell in yesterday's shadow, Nor chain your spirit to old echoes fading. The past—a tutor stern, yet shallow, Whispers lessons, not condemnations pervading. We were born not for endless roaming, But for return, for sacred homing. Behold, amidst us, a kingdom stands, Unmoved by time's eroding sands. This realm of the divine, it knows no bounds, No earthly limit can its spirit cage. In it, righteousness, like mighty sounds, Echoes as the main pursuit of our age. Heed the call, resounding clear and grand: “Repent, for heaven's gate is near at hand.” With each repentant step, the path grows bright, Leading us from shadow into Light. So let us march, not as prisoners forlorn, But as pilgrims, with hearts reborn. For in the kingdom's unshakeable embrace, We find our home, our resting place. -Steven G. Lee (June 24, 2024)
