Embracing Spiritual Growth #1909

Embracing Spiritual Growth In the shadow of the cross, where pain and sanctity meet, A whisper to the heavens, where spirit and flesh compete. "Father, into your hands," a sacred vow declared, In the depths of suffering, a soul laid bare. Life transcends the fleeting pain, the tears that fall like rain, A journey of the spirit, through joy and through strain. Every trial a crucible, every hardship a prayer, In the furnace of affliction, our souls find repair. Not for ease or comfort, nor for earthly gain, But for spiritual growth, emerging from the pain. To see beyond the temporal, to where eternity gleams, In the darkest moments, discover what it means. The Savior’s path was not for naught, His suffering not in vain, He bore the cross to teach us all the value of our pain. In surrender to the Father, in trust and in belief, We find the path to wisdom, and the source of true relief. Life’s deepest essence lies in spirit, not in dust, In the hands of the Creator, where every soul can trust. Embrace the cross of life, with hearts both pure and still, And find the higher purpose, aligning with His will. For life is matters of spirit, not the fleeting pains we feel, In divine surrender, every wound can heal. In trials, we find purpose, in suffering, we grow, Through the lens of the spirit, the divine path we’ll know. -Steven G. Lee (June 23, 2024)
