Crucifixion and Resurrection #1831
Crucifixion and Resurrection
In the shadows where death resides,
Life finds its dual course,
Crucifixion and Resurrection,
Two actions of divine force.
God in Christ, the ultimate need,
For every soul, a sacred deed,
Christ’s death, a personal plea,
For everyone, for you, for me.
“Death operates in us,” they say,
“But life in you,” a brighter way,
From death to life, we’ve passed the veil,
In Christ, our faith shall never fail.
“Be faithful unto death,” He calls,
“And I’ll bestow the crown of life,”
Through trials and through tempests’ thralls,
Our souls are lifted from the strife.
Life eternal, Christ proclaims,
In scriptures old, His truth remains,
John, Romans, and Matthew’s voice,
In Him, we find our everlasting choice.
The Gospel rings, a timeless story,
Of sacrifice and risen glory,
For in His death, and life anew,
Our hearts are cleansed, our spirits true.
