Blossoms of Justice #1628
Blossoms of Justice
Overcoming poverty is not a task of charity,
It is an act of justice, a call to humanity.
Like slavery's chains and apartheid's cruel might,
Poverty is not natural; it shuns the light.
Man-made and deliberate, it weaves despair,
Yet in our hands lies the power to repair.
By actions of humans, it can be undone,
Eradicated completely, and victory won.
Sometimes a generation is chosen to be great,
To rise above, transform, and create.
YOU can be that great generation,
Let your greatness blossom, heal our nation.
Not in charity, but in justice’s name,
Overcome the darkness, ignite the flame.
Together we stand, hand in hand,
To build a just and prosperous land.
Let your greatness blossom, let it shine bright,
For poverty’s end is within our sight.
With every action, every voice, every heart,
We can create a world where poverty departs.
