Assurance of Salvation Over Miracles #1690
Assurance of Salvation Over Miracles
In faith, the heart finds a tranquil repose,
Not in miracles or wonders the world knows.
Assurance blooms in the soul's quiet grace,
Rooted in Christ, in His loving embrace.
Through His sacrifice, death, and rise,
Forgiveness flows, eternal life's prize.
More vital than visions or powers displayed,
Is the secure bond in the faith we've laid.
A rich man, in comfort, ignored a beggar's plea,
In the parable told, truth’s simplicity.
He asked for Lazarus, risen, to warn,
But Christ's words revealed the true morn.
“If they don't heed Moses or prophets’ call,
Not even the risen will break their fall.”
Faith and grace, the pathway to salvation,
Not in the spectacle, but in quiet dedication.
Mercy and grace, freely given, we share,
From assurance in Christ, our souls prepare.
For without this peace, how can grace flow,
To neighbors and strangers we do not know?
Luke 10:20, a verse to uplift,
Rejoice not in power or miraculous gift.
But in heaven, where names are inscribed,
In this truth, our joy and assurance reside.
Salvation assured, a divine embrace,
In faith, we find our rightful place.
Not in miracles, but in Christ's love unfurled,
Assurance of salvation, our treasure, our world.
