Echoes of Divinity: Journey Through the Gospel #36

Echoes of Divinity: Journey Through the Gospel In the whispers of the gospel, where the divine breath dances, There lies a teaching, a holy embrace, transcending life, transcending death. Jesus, a figure both of earth and heaven, Rose from the shadows of the cross, a resurrection, A testament in flesh and spirit, where divine will gently rests. Not in the richness of feasts, nor in the melodies of song, Do humans find their ultimate joy. But rather, in the footsteps of Jesus, the mortal beacon, Lies the true sustenance, the highest bliss— To live as he lived, in service and love, is to truly feast. Joy, a concept not confined to the simple pleasures, Nor bound by the rhythmic turn of seasons. It is found in love, in the toil of existence, In the embrace of neighbor and God alike, In the heart of survival, amidst the tides of life and death. Such is the gospel's song, a melody of extreme joy, Echoing beyond the realms of mortality. “The time is fulfilled...the kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe,” so it sings (Mk 1:15; Mt 3:2;4:17;10:7). The beatitudes, bold and radical, Echo Jesus' intent, his heavenly vision cast upon the earth— A realm of true peace, a haven of freedom, for all to inherit. -Written by Steven G.
