Whispers of Mercy, Echoes of Grace #54
Whispers of Mercy, Echoes of Grace
In mercy's gentle, embracing light,
Whispers the Divine, a voice so clear,
"I seek not offerings to right the wrong,
But hearts of love, sincere and strong."
For in the hallowed halls of grace,
Where judgment yields to mercy's face,
Not sacrifices, nor rites' demand,
But justice, pure, in every land.
Amidst the echoes of ancient words,
In Matthew's verse, the truth is heard,
"Ho6:6, 9:13, in scripture's weave,
Mercy, I desire, and ask you to believe."
In living clean, in deeds just and kind,
Far more than rituals, God's love we find.
Atonement's path, not by our hand,
But by Christ's grace, we understand.
For in that act of love so grand,
God's compassion, vast as sand,
Mercy and grace, in union dance,
In our salvation, not left to chance.
So let us walk, in mercy's way,
Embrace the grace, day by day.
For in these gifts, so freely given,
Lies the path to peace, and heaven.
