Journey of Humble Grace #85

Journey of Humble Grace In a journey graced by gospel light, Where knowledge deepens not in might, But in the humble, quiet sight Of truths unveiled in heart's own plight. The path we tread, in faith so small, Like mustard seeds, yet stands tall. In simplest acts, faith's call Echoes deep, transcending all. God's word, a blade so keen and true, Cuts to the core, our essence through. In its light, all is anew, Thoughts laid bare in celestial view. Yet, amid this divine quest, Man's ambition often tests. Seeking grandeur, missing rest, In Gospel's truth, we find our best. For in the words of ancient scrolls, Matthew's wisdom, John's heart consoles. Echoing through these sacred roles, The word transforms, it makes us whole. In the realm where heavens sing, Of humble hearts, His grace does cling. Each verse, a bell that sweetly rings, Guiding souls on truth's bright wing. So let us walk this path so true, With hearts open, in all we do. For in the Gospel's humble view, Lies the essence of life anew. -Written by Steven G. Lee (January 19, 2024)
