Deeds of Faith: The Echo of Christ's Path #60
Deeds of Faith: The Echo of Christ's Path
In the realm where deeds eclipse mere speech,
Where actions, not just words, do truly teach,
Stood Christ, a figure, both humble and grand,
His life, a testament, written not by hand.
Through towns he wandered, in actions he spoke,
A gospel of love, a yoke that's no yoke.
Each step, each touch, a sermon on its own,
In deeds unspoken, His truth brightly shone.
"Faith without works," James's words do resound,
A truth profound, in actions it's found.
In the clasp of hands, in the sharing of bread,
In the silent comfort to those who've bled.
Matthew's tale echoes, frustration in tone,
"O ye of little faith," a seed sown,
Not in the soil of words, but in the act,
A call to faith, in deeds, to make impact.
The cross and the tomb, narratives of might,
Not just tales to read, but acts in plain sight.
Through crucifixion's pain, resurrection's dawn,
The supremacy of action is drawn.
For in Christ's footsteps, a path is laid bare,
A journey of deeds, beyond just prayer.
In every act of kindness, faith's true voice,
In every deed of love, the soul's choice.
So let us walk, not just in word, but deed,
In every act of love, plant a seed.
For in the realm of Christ, as we traverse,
It's through our actions, His love we converse.
