Divine Insight: The Beacon of Discernment #64

Divine Insight: The Beacon of Discernment In the realm of our innate sight, Lies a gift, not chosen, but as natural as light. Born with the wisdom to see and discern, Guided by teachings, in sacred texts we learn. "Be not shaped by this worldly fray," Whispers Romans, in verse twelve and two, they say, "Transform, renew, in your mind's quiet bower, And test the will of God, His perfect power." Divine insight, a beacon so bright, Illuminating complex with simpler light. From one essence, the nature of many we see, Clarity in obscurity, unbiased and free. Matthew's words, a cautionary tale, Warns of false prophets, in deception they veil. Great signs, wonders, yet believe them not, For true discernment is what we've got. In the Gospel's glow, our discernment grows, Against the world's pattern, our insight shows. Truth we recognize, in its purest form, In the heart of the gospel, we find our norm. Through divine insight, the obscured is clear, Revealing discernment, sincere and dear. In scriptures, we find, the truth's mighty sword, Guiding, enlightening, in accord with the Lord. -Written by Steven G. Lee (January 15, 2024)
