In the Light of the Divine #100
In the Light of the Divine
In the realm where words falter and fall,
Amidst the splendor of the Divine's all,
We find our language too meager, too small,
To speak of God's work, grand and tall.
In seeking, in serving, in understanding His core,
We yearn to grasp His will, to explore
The depths of His longing to join our human store,
To bridge the chasm, to open the door.
Different, yet bound, are human and Divine,
Linked by principles, timeless and fine.
In the cross of Christ, these truths align,
A message of mercy and righteousness, a sign.
Through the gospel, lessons of virtue we learn,
In God's service, for His grace we yearn.
To live as designed, to His commandments we turn,
In adherence, in faith, in love that burns.
Those who embrace the gospel, align with His will,
Grow in wisdom, in virtue, never still.
With each day, their understanding, a brighter quill,
In the journey of the gospel, an advancing thrill.
Like stars in the night, their moral character gleams,
In the path of the Divine, their spirit beams.
Ever onward, ever upward, in the gospel streams,
In God's magnificent work, their soul redeems.
