Whispers of the Heart: The Essence of True Worship #59

Whispers of the Heart: The Essence of True Worship In the humble heart’s whisper, where true worship lies, Beyond the grandeur of outward guise, Echoes Christ’s words, a solemn, sacred sigh, 'My name on their lips, yet their hearts, oh, so nigh. In vain, they offer, their voices in air, For worship is more than a song, a prayer. It's the soul's silent longing, honest and bare, A dance of the spirit, a heart's tender care. Not in the clamor of gilded halls, But in quiet corners, where the true spirit calls. Not in the spectacle, where empty adoration falls, But in the hush of devotion, where love enthralls. For what is worship, but love's true confession, Not a display, but a heart's procession? In the simplicity of faith, lies the greatest expression, A journey within, a divine, humble session. Thus, let our worship be sincere and profound, Not a mere echo of resounding sound, But a river of grace, where true hearts are found, In the humblest of gestures, God’s presence abounds. -Written by Steven G.
