Not merely words to idly rehearse, But a living creed, to embrace, enthrall. More than speech, our deeds must resonate, With the sacred chords of this holy song. To live, to love, in faith, not just narrate, In every act, the gospel's strength prolong. Beware, oh soul, the hollow creed, Of gospel's words, yet actions bare. Embrace with heart, in thought and deed, Let every moment, His teaching declare. Churches stand, like stars in night's embrace, A testament to faith's widespread grace. Yet, remember well, Christ's pivotal place, In salvation's tale, His eternal base. Scriptures speak, in verses clear and bold, Luke's wisdom, Matthew's tales retold. John's loving words, Romans' truths unfold, James' guidance, in these, His path is scrolled. So, let us walk, not just in thought, but deed, In Jesus' steps, His way we heed. Each day, a chance, the gospel to feed, In every act, His love, our creed. Thus, we live the gospel, true and bright, In every word, in every rite.
