Divine Workmanship: Paths of Grace #97

Divine Workmanship: Paths of Grace In the tapestry of divine design, Woven by hands not mortal but divine, We stand as God's workmanship, sublime, Crafted in grace, through the sands of time. Words falter to capture this sacred art, For human language, too frail, falls apart, In portraying the fullness of God's heart, In His mercy and grace, we play a part. Yet, in humility, Christ's path we trace, Embracing a virtue beyond our space, Guided by the Spirit, in gentle grace, We start to mirror His love, His embrace. For by grace, not by deeds, we are reborn, Through faith, in Christ's love, no longer forlorn, A gift from God, not to be worn with scorn, But a mantle of hope, in grace adorned. "We are His workmanship," so it is penned, In Ephesians' words, a divine commend, Created in Christ, for good works to tend, Prepared by God, on this, we depend. These works of faith, not of our own making, Are paths laid out, for our humble taking, In each step, His purpose, our hearts waking, To live out His plan, in love partaking. So let us walk in these works, with joy sown, In the field of grace, where His love is shown, For in His workmanship, we're not alone, In His grand design, His glory is known. -Written by Steven G.
