The Banquet of Hearts: An Invitation Unbound #490

The Banquet of Hearts: An Invitation Unbound In the hush of life's bustling din, A tale unfolds, a whisper from within. A master's feast laid out with care, An invitation, a breath of rarefied air. First invited, the elite, they turned away, Lost in the morrow, blind to the day. Undaunted, the master's heart then swelled, To the overlooked, his invitation he compelled. "Come," he said, "from streets, from shadows, draw near, The poor, the hurt, the unseen, let none fear." His hall to fill, a vision, a dream, A banquet for all, a divine theme. This master, a symbol of grace so wide, In Him, no need for pretense or pride. An open table, an expansive invite, Where the last might be first, in the gentlest of light. Here, in this story, a mirror, a call, To live out this kingdom, where love covers all. Not just in the future, but here, and now, To weave this inclusivity into life's plow. May this prose, a poetic embrace, Remind us of love's unbounded space. To extend the invitation, wide and far, Underneath the same sky, the same star. So let's live out this banquet, an earthly foretaste, Where every boundary by love is erased. A community of fellowship, of grace unconfined, In the master's feast, our hearts intertwined.
