Whispers of the Divine: The Gospel's Reversed Valuation #699
Whispers of the Divine: The Gospel's Reversed Valuation
In the quiet whispers of the divine,
Lies a paradox, profound and unseen,
Where the world's castoffs become celestial signs,
And the esteemed, mere shadows in the gleam.
The Gospel of Christ, a cosmic dance,
Reverses the flow of worldly esteem.
The worthless, in divine glance,
Hold the universe's dream.
Technological marvels, financial might,
Strategic prowess, media's light,
Fleet and fade in this sacred night,
Where the overlooked take flight.
1 Corinthians, with ancient words, declares,
God's preference for the weak, the spare.
Foolish things to confound the wise,
In God's presence, the strong's demise.
This isn't just doctrine, but life's reframe,
A call to see beyond the fame,
To value simplicity, to honor the tame,
In this world, but not of its game.
Here, let us pause and ponder,
In this world, we wander,
Seeking riches, yet yonder,
Lies the truth, our hearts grow fonder.
This prose, a beacon in night's embrace,
Urges a walk in divine grace,
To live, to love, in humble space,
And find in the least, God's face.
